Double Waiver Approved for Young Couple!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2015

A young peruvian man will soon be reunited with his U.S. citizen wife despite a previous deportation and criminal offenses.

The couple came to Hessel Law after trying to get the waivers approved on their own - despite the previous denials, I was able to have both waivers approved within a few months. We had to get creative in looking at how his wife's religious faith would limit her ability to leave the U.S. or to live without her husband. This, in combination with some medical issues we had to dig deep to evidence, strengthened the waivers and allowed me to see them reunited soon - just in time for the holidays!
